@RickiTarr I mean generally I've found the opposite problem to be true in the US that resistance to changing the constitution even a little bit is so strong that it has become a stagnant mess

many contemporary countries with a constitution have completely rewritten theirs a few times while we treat ours like it is the word of god (quite literally among fundie America idolators)
