@mastoe it's worth remembering that originally, the term was "Social Network", not "Social Media" - that change is really what shifted the focus from places you went to share things with friends to the idea that everyone is now a "content creator".

@aral @starlabssystems I have System 76's Lemur Pro and I don't think I've ever had the track pad problem. Batter life is pretty great on it too. Might be worth a look - it's also entirely user serviceable, which is nice.

@MediaActivist shortyz is a great crossword app on android that I don't think is available on iOS.

Also, the PO Pixel from Teenage Engineering is a lot of fun if you have an eligible Pixel device. It's basically the PO-33 in an app with a fun video editor. Seriously, this thing is a blast.
