Also, I use it for work.
There are several shrink wrapped FOSS mail server packages around, which will do all the heavy lifting.
I use Mail-in-a-box for my mail server, and I spend less than an hour a week keeping in going.
Thanks.
I named the blog profile on a site "info" following the email used, but it was a mistake, as it doesn't work well on the fediverse. I should have repeated the domain instead.
I'll wait changing it.
Is it safe to change the Profile ID of a blog profile? There is not warning against it on the settings page. Will it lose followers?
Another question: if I use the reply bookmarklet, it seems to want to make a post on the site. Will that post be part of the site feed, like a normal post?
Thanks for ActivityPub for WordPress - you have really built a great thing here.
Apple uses an anti spam "service" called ProofPoint which will randomly block mail from anybody but the big email services.
They almost systematically block private mail servers, and they're incredibly difficult to contact,if not impossible.

I can't come up with anymore, but if you want bootlogs or other information from my tablet, let me know and I'll get it to you.

I think you need to update the initramfs too, and reboot.
Hi, I remembered a problem I had in the beginning with paring a bt mouse. Scanning, however, worked, but pairing failed.
From the mails with StarLabs:
"
I solved this by downloading more recent firmware files from here:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/intel
The files are ibt-0040-2120.{sfi,ddc}.
"
I have Debian testing in my Starlite.
No issues with WiFi. After each firmware upgrade it boots to the uefi prompt, I have to boot manually, and then reinstall grub, as in install-grub, not update-grub.
@evan
The scary part is that there are no such demonstrations in the USA.
@pfefferle Yes. Comment notifications by email is an anti-spam measure, but likes and reposts can't be spam. They just lower the signal to noise ratio for no gain.
@pfefferle Reposts and likes
@pfefferle
Hi, I now have the check boxes in the plugin settings, they're unchecked, and I keep getting the notifications.
Something's off.
Also, I'm being spammed by emails for new followers and likes, and there's nowhere to disable them. Likes and follows are nice, but I don't want that to be my focus for mental health reasons. It stresses me. I want to focus on making interesting content.
An update to the WordPress ActivityPub plugin yesterday has changed the layout of my site without any warning, by adding a block showing likes and follows on all pages and posts.
Such changes should not be automatic and not notified.
I have had to go around and remove that block, which doesn't match the layout of my site. I'll now have to do it on other sites too.
Please don't make automatic changes to visible parts of our sites.

Go to plugin settings and choose which post types are shared via activitypub.
@pfefferle
I have backups, so all forgiven :-)
How come the option 'activitypub_custom_post_content' has been reset to the default on all my sites using ActivityPub?
What has happened?
Edit: it seems to have happened between Nov 8 and 9, according to my nightly backups.

Thanks for listening.
The world needs Mastodon and the Fediverse.

Just right now, the link scrolled in at the bottom (I'm reading new to old), so I expect the posts to load below, but they loaded above. Now I have to scroll backwards to find where I was, manually.
Something isn't working.
