@hellomiakoda they are, indeed, a headache to deal with.

@hellomiakoda please listen carefully, as the options have recently changed.
"Recently" in geological terms, because they never remove that admonition.

@tr4nt0r @hellomiakoda not a good idea when dealing in the financial space. The blast radius may be much greater than the one account, due to reporting requirements.

@mikemccaffrey @hellomiakoda yep this is why.
It's also why there aren't many clothes dryers that use heat pumps. It's technically possible, and they do get the clothes dry. But it takes a really long time (because of the lower temperature) and people generally don't have the patience for that.

@hellomiakoda there are open source alternatives. But you'll need some mighty beefy computing power to get it to the level that is likely to satisfy you.
Expensive hardware (thousands). Lots of energy consumption? Kind of depends on how often you use it and how deep you want the LLM to go.

@hellomiakoda linseed oil is the best to use if you're vegan. The same reason it is used in oil paint (durability) is what makes it good for cast iron.

@hellomiakoda indeed.
Hey, what's to become of your car? You said it was inoperable.

@hellomiakoda some people resent those who spend their lives playing video games. Most are forced to labor for others in order to have food and shelter.
To be clear, I don't feel this way about you. But I understand that others might, and I can even understand why they might.

@hellomiakoda have you found a way to clear the "clean filter" notification without the Midea app?

@hellomiakoda @sofiav hence why context is so important. And why language is so hard for Autists. You are literally blind to half (or more) of the context.

@hellomiakoda higher than you'd think, particularly if you get out of sight quickly. The longer they're following, the harder it becomes to flee.

@hellomiakoda depends on why you're not doing the thing. Is it because you forgot, or because you're avoiding it?

@hellomiakoda solution: Zigbee temperature monitors and HA alerts. Plus you know what temperature your refrigerator really is at.

@hellomiakoda it's a pretty radical thing for someone to take in. And yeah it can happen with gay, trans, POC.
The novelty can be curious, or it can be scary. A change in front is scarier because
- it's unexpected
- it's disorientingThat makes it "bigger" than those other categories, harder to handle. I'm not saying that you have an obligation to change, but I'm trying to give you a bit of perspective on how it looks from the other side.
Given how relatively uncommon it is, you'll likely be the first (and maybe only) instance most people meet. That makes it much harder. Remember how I said I just learned about this today from you? And how I need time to chew on it to grasp it? That's quite a bit easier with me not being in the middle of actually witnessing it for the first time. I would be in a much different frame of mind if I had to do all of that at the same time that I was interacting with you in person, experiencing a change of front.
You know what it's like to be situationally overwhelmed and how hard that is in the moment. The same thing happens to neurotypicals, too.
I'm not saying that they can't adapt. But it's not reasonable to expect them to fully adapt within the first couple of minutes of experiencing that for the first time. Humans aren't built to do that.
Am I making sense?

@GossiTheDog @briankrebs blockchain had hype and investment, but ok a scale that has been dwarfed by the LLM version. The two aren't really comparable in a macroeconomic sense. This one is more comparable to the dot com bubble.
