   It's also why there aren't many clothes dryers that use heat pumps. It's technically possible, and they do get the clothes dry. But it takes a really long time (because of the lower temperature) and people generally don't have the patience for that.

     @cy @mikemccaffrey @mweiss It's pretty rare that I'm in enough of a time crunch to care how long my dryer takes. It usually sits there, forgotten, long dried, for 12 to 48 hours. It's when someone complains or I ran out of other clothes that I finally remember to go get my laundry.

     Why would you need patience,? Do you sit there watching your dryer while it runs?
