I kinda hoped it'd unsub me from communities that I gained by subbing via the feed (and leave the ones alone that I already subbed to manually). I had to unsub from a few communities after testing. Glad there weren't that many, lol.

Okay, my boss didn't get informed by the Signal app on his iPhone that I've sent a message. Only after he opened the app he got a notification, which is kinda defeating the point as he didn't know he had a message on Signal to begin with and he doesn't use Signal that often.

That seems to be the default behavior of Signal on all iPhones from what I've observed so far. What's going on and what setting needs to be adjusted for Signal to send notifications from the start? Because it's apparently not that intuitive at all.

I don't have an iPhone so I wouldn't know where to look. And apparently all the iPhone-users I know here in my area aren't that familiar with iPhones either. :P

@freemo@qoto.org I definitely never will do 'economy' class again, especially not on long flights. My dad was suffering from it for a week straight. (We went to Curacao with the whole family)
I'm sure the material they used for the chairs was harder than steel, it wasn't suitable for anyone's buttocks. :P

@freemo@qoto.org Heh. Still cool. Closest to first class I ever got was on a Singapore Airlines plane on a friday the thirteenth... and uh.. that was a bigass plane with only 10 passengers on board. Whole row for myself, y0! XD

@freemo@qoto.org It's in a restaurant? So this is fancy. My Japanese roommates back then never cooked this fancy. ;) They usually do simple large meals with rice or ramen. Rice seemed more common I think.

Well, you can compare it to the latin alphabet. You have to draw the 'a' in a certain order too at schools. Later in your life you do whatever you want, but at the start you have to draw those letters a certain way.

I even had a map full of lines where I had to draw those letters so nicely in cursive in a certain way (I don't think they do this anymore? The writing is terrible nowadays lol), but I haven't written in cursive in ages anymore, but my dad still does. I write more clearer than cursive, but back then in school, yeah, you gotta do it a certain way.

(Cursive was also invented to write faster, so it's also in line with your thinking there)
