Yeah. But the problem with guillotines is that once they come out it's hard to stop guillotining people. Lots of stupid feuds were settled that way during the French revolution that had nothing to do with the, uh actual revolution.

Seriously. Laws are the civilized alternative to dragging the accused out into the street and beating them to death. When legal justice fails systematically, expect vigilantism to rise.

Precisely this. Even if Biden decides to invoke Dark Brandon and go this route, the Republicans would pull every dirty trick imaginable to negate the action. THEN use it as ammunition to 'prove' Biden is worse than Trump, threatening the election. Independents will not vote for Biden, the benign dictator.

Yep. He used to tell it as a 'hilarious' anecdote about his family road trip vacations. Seamus, in a crate, tied to the top of the family car, speeding down the highway at 70 mph. Dog is so terrified its liquified shit coats the back window. Romney has to stop to clean it up.
