One of the most effective things we can start doing as a community is to begin legitimizing and normalizing independent and low/no-budget technology.

We are so used to being spoon-fed shiny marketing gimmicks as our primary way of validating technology. If we can break the paradigm that it needs to be "shiny" to be "effective" we can do anything.

In my opinion this is the most progressive and most exciting distribution of Linux available today. This project is in another league compared to the other Linux Operating Systems.

However it doesn't have a keynote in front of thousands of people, or an in-person sponsor showcase with knife throwing and a magician on site.

We need to support indie tech, such as Asahi Linux.
