@mick oh look, an Ewok!

@skinnylatte oh, that’s really good. I’ve never seen that with bulk coffee.

@skinnylatte Coffer beans go stale about 2-4 weeks after roasting once exposed to oxygen. I can notice a change in pour-over quality though it’s slight. It’s much more noticeable when making espresso, and is why I started roasting beans myself. I paid for my roasting oven in about four months with the savings.

@aral there’s a whole little industry build around modding existing Seikos all the way to buying individual separate parts where the only actual Seiko component is the movement.

@aral in that case I’ll share a pic. i built this from a Namokimods titanium case two years ago. This year I changed out the dial, bezel, and bezel insert.

@aral 🤤 putting on my built by me Seiko.

@wendynather @beyondmachines1 @catsalad I’m in this not-an-insult. 🤣

@timbray @mekkaokereke I like to use melted butter in place of oil. But then I use oil on a steel griddle instead of butter. I also recommend frozen blueberries, rinsed to thaw and then distribute once batter is poured. For a while I made this every Saturday morning plus bacon.

@timbray @mekkaokereke boo! I am out of frozen blueberries. The pancakes were still yummy this morning.

@aral > Would anyone be interested in a little write-up of how to embed Vimeo videos without their player/tracking but still keeping the closed captions? Yes, please.

@babe Oscar at his bi-weekly visits for treats.

@neil @ben I'm planning on going one step better and wiring in a zigbee connected relay to my espresso machine so this key will turn it on through Home Assistant.
