@liztai The issue in the states with cultural appropriation has to more to do with the power structures rather than pure culture. White people, colonizers, take the culture away from people they have conquered and subjugated and make mockery of it.

Think about blackface: For hundreds of years white people captured and sold human beings into chattel slavery. They brought with them music and dance unseen by whites. White performers stole that, marked their faces black, and profited. (Cont'd)

@ryanhoulihan @blogdiva Oh gawd yes. And bandaids don't cut it. The only thing I found that helped with that are the silicone nipple covers. If you end up with larger breasts, compression and nipple covers are your friend when doing anything high impact.

@blogdiva @ryanhoulihan My good boobs didn't come in until I was 25 or so. Late bloomer here, too. I was 16. I seem to go up a cup size per decade or so, but don't change much everywhere else. It's WILD. Pretty sure by the time I'm dead I'll be all boobs and chicken legs.
