Apple found a new way to sabotage and ruin PWAs in iOS 27. When you add a PWA to the Home Screen, it forces this fade onto it, and you can't remove it. Unbelievable.

I want to experience this!

It never gets old seeing what humanity can do with math and science while we continue to battle against our base instincts down here on Earth.

@matdevdug: "...there's something quietly beautiful about a place where people just... share what they know. No brand deals, no engagement metrics, no algorithm nudging you toward rage. Just someone who spent twenty years studying Arctic policy posting a thread at 2 AM because they think you should understand what's happening. It's the internet I was promised in 1996. It only took thirty years and the complete collapse of American journalism to get here."

I hate it when people tell me “It’s my way or the interstate,” because it doesn’t rhyme.

Love this. Watch the bird fly.

Big thanks to @pfefferle and @obenland for the #ActivityPub @WordPress plugin office hours today. I learned a lot and am even more excited about the plugin and where they want to take it than I was before.

The office hours continue the rest of this week. Here are the details: https://activitypub.blog/2025/11/25/join-us-for-office-hours-dec-1-5/

@pfefferle

These are my Advanced Settings:

✅ Vary Header
✅ Content Negotiation
🔲 Authorized Fetch
🔲 Modern Signature Format
🔲 Following User Interface
🔲 Activity-Object-Type

@pfefferle

I'm still confused about what the issue is. Why would a perfectly formed URL to my article go to a JSON file, and what does that have to do with the ActivityPub plugin? I can't replicate any of this. Is the ActivityPub plugin doing some sort of routing on my WP install when referrers come from Mastodon?
