Testing out my device for keeping my book open while I knit/crochet, I've read everything in my pile that stays open by itself. Knitted an i-cord, and the open book is resting atop a larger flatter book. So far, so good. It would be annoying except that I read much more slowly when I knit so the page turns won't be so frequent.
@Originallyrose@bmacDonald94 My aunt took me on a long walk when I was a kid and we walked by a big park (somewhere in LA in the 60's) and there was music and a woman walked by with flowers painted on her face, I asked my aunt what was going on, she said it was a love-in. Still a vivid memory.
@WarnerCrocker There was a remote time when R's were dead set against lawyerish maneuverings to evade accountability, now it's their go to move. Not that I'm expecting logic or consistency.
