AFAIK IoT can't solve this problem unless I can access the power plug for the exhaust in the crawlspace and it would take two devices which seems costly. Also moving out at some point makes me think this is unwise.

Can't figure out what brightness to set bathroom globe. Its dark in the day but blindingly light at night. Sometimes exhaust fan is necessary but they are on same switch in a rental

You can get bulbs with memory that you could invert the lighting and the exhaust and then add a lamp - or maybe a permanent nightlight

But what about a nonsmart bulb with a little chip with different light settings / dimmer? So you flick off and on to toggle between modes, one for day and one for night.

Of course modern leftists are part of a broken system and watch media that is by captured and mastodon on instances which don't believe in Freeze Peach and that makes it easy for the right to argue that the left doesn't care about free speech at all — which is often true by their actions.

Is NAS a commonly blocked / muted instance? Or do authoritarians and leftists on the fediverse just not like discussion/debate?

I seem to never get buy in when I want to be challenged on my ideas.
