A U.S. Senator was pepper-sprayed by ICE outside of an immigration detention center on Monday.

Senator Andy Kim was filmed having his eyes washed out with a bottle of water in a video shared by a reporter on X. The senator has subsequently said that his eyes and throat were “burning” and that his hand hurts following the incident.

Police say a motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a B.C. crash near the Surrey-Delta border Saturday afternoon left a motorcycle dangling from a traffic light above a busy intersection.

Police say the rider suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of the sedan was not injured.

Kash Patel has ordered more than two dozen current and former members of his security detail to undergo lie detector tests in an attempt to flush out leakers from the bureau, according to a report.

Sources told MS NOW that the director ordered the polygraphing of those staff, as well as several IT professionals, and has also “walled himself off from some senior bureau leaders”

FIFA is the most corrupt sports org ever. They have built a few stadiums in the mideast with slave labor. The BBC did a documentary on that before.

I quit supporting sports in any way shape or form in the late 90's. When I see players getting paid millions for chasing a ball around while people with job experience and all sorts of training and degrees cannot find work it just disgusts me to no end.

I hope the fifa fiasco is a big flop.

The FAA released a one-minute YouTube ad, urging gamers to swap their Xboxes and PlayStations for radar displays.

“Become an air traffic controller,” it continues. “It’s not a game. It’s a career.”

Sean Duffy reposted the ad on X,
“To reach the next generation of air traffic controllers, we need to adapt,” Duffy said in a statement to The NYT. Gamers, he said, “taps into a growing demographic of young adults who have many of the hard skills it takes to be a successful controller.”

Some air traffic experts told the outlet that gamers could bring valuable skills to the airline industry though others questioned whether the recruitment push will resolve broader staffing shortages.

More than 300 fully certified controllers have joined the FAA since September 2024, according to The New York Times, bringing the total number to about 11,000. In August 2025, the agency said it would require 14,663 controllers in total to be fully staffed.
