In an online discussion, don't assume anything about anybody exceeding what they are writing. More often than not, they have a vastly different Frame of perception than you do, with focus on aspects that might sound trivial or irrelevant to you. ESPECIALLY, don't become demeaning based on what you perceive as untenable position. As long as it's not derogatory, give them the benefit of the doubt. It's more likely that you have a misunderstanding than that they're one-dimensional douchebags.

@Gargron interesting company, given that Titan A.E. was absolutely not well received at its time, especially in comparison to treasure planet. I must admit I haven't watched Sindbad, will have to add that to my list.

@Gargron while all your examples are 100% valid, I seriously question whether we would be able to manage to do that today. With the utter shambles most democracies are in currently, multi-national Corporations can run roughshod on environmental protection, worker safety, child protection and just about everything that past generations fought hard for.

@GossiTheDog I am sincerely surprised you can trace back an IP to a ransomware group, I'd expect them to be more careful to protect their Identity when trying out a new exploit. I mean, essentially they're giving away their game, especially when they are iterating, since their IPs are (as can be seen) scrutinized more than other's

I know that women were often subordinated to men also in indigenous cultures but without the subjugating component that essentially robbed them of their self-esteem and agency as we have both in muslim and christian culture.
