@Dss @Milkman76 @cstross I think there's a Malthusian component to the way the wealthy and the far right have responded to the pandemic. They buy into the idea that overpopulation is a problem and saw an ideal opportunity to cull the poor, the disabled and the elderly. An incredible bonus for them that it also has cognitive impacts, because there's nothing like brain damage to turn people to right-wing politics.

@eniko It's insane - my parents both caught it this week and although it hasn't hit them super hard so far that leaves a situation where almost nobody I know personally has avoided it. Kids and people with kids had no chance.

I can only characterise the longer-term national level responses as evil. There's no leeway for them to plead ignorance by this point, or even when the decisions were made.

@zozo @darkade There's nothing cosier to me than the line "better a pig than a fascist." A homely truth for the ages.

@SkipSandwichDX A different game but my go-to rec for a PbtA Actual Play is Spout Lore. It does a great job of building the world collectively and it's also very fun and funny.
