@Infoseepage You can probably get this done online quickly at mdlive.com or onemedical (amazon).

@csilverman I wish I could favorite this 100 times. I'm excited to see the other 99 of this series.

@MastodonEngineering @Mastodon I hope that hiring this person will make it possible to stop the mechanism that today turns preview images into preview text as you scroll. It moves buttons inches away from the click during the click gesture(!) causing errors and making users chase the buttons with the mouse, and it hides the images that we want to see.

If this is true, women will hold all the engineering and professional jobs within a generation.

If this is true, then young men don't want to hang out with young women, which seems absurd.

If this is true, then the collapse of marriage can't be far behind.

If this is true, then countries with less toxic masculinity will send men to US universities.

If this is true, we should segregate college by gender to give men a safe space.

If this is true, parenting failed.

@dansup Thank you for your work!

Salmon returned a month after dam removal.

The "dams only produced...enough to power about 70,000 homes. They also didn’t provide irrigation, drinking water or flood control, according to Klamath River Renewal Corporation."

"The Klamath River’s headwaters lie on the tribe’s homelands in Oregon, and members once depended on salmon for 25% of their food. But for more than a century their waters have not held any salmon"

"Danish lawmakers on Monday agreed on a deal to plant 1 billion trees and convert 10% of farmland into forest and natural habitats over the next two decades in an effort to reduce fertilizer usage.

"The government called the agreement “the biggest change to the Danish landscape in over 100 years.”

“The Danish nature will change in a way we have not seen since the wetlands were drained in 1864,”

"Unlike Obama and Bush, moreover, Trump did not win a majority of the national popular vote. Though it looked like he was over 50 percent on Election Night, the steady drip of late ballots has eroded his percentage to (currently) 49.87 percent, with further slippage very likely before all the votes are in."

@MattTheQuick Why is E the one?

“But billionaires on the right have invested far more heavily in media in the last two decades than their counterparts on the left—whose ad-supported, VC-funded operations started to fizzle out once social media and Google starting eating up the revenue pie.” (1/3)

@openbuddha @ekis And a wild sarcast appears.

There is no reason to give up.
“They want you to feel powerless and surrender and let them trample everything and you are not going to let them. You are not giving up, and neither am I. The fact that we cannot save everything does not mean we cannot save anything and everything we can save is worth saving.” —Rebecca Solnit
