I see no controversy in the assertion that equating Israel with Judaism is not only an unambiguous act of antisemitism, but is also plainly in service of life-choking, all-consuming state propaganda.
An example, the subtleties of which are not subtle at all to someone invested in the subject: A while back some fash fuck found a foothold in my head by referring to 🇮🇱 as the “jewish flag.” This is so many different kinds of Fucking Insidious I can’t even adequately begin to concisely trace it out.
I’m looking for advice. My relatively midsized music library currently uses two tags for genre: it calls “genre” the basic category or movement or sound something seems to fit into into (Gabber Metal, Goth, Industrial, Electronica, Punk) and then uses the “grouping” tag to get into something more niche and specific (Speedcore, Metalcore Nu Metal, Death Rock, WaxTrax, Hyperpop, etc, etc) and there’s loads of instances of one tag appearing on either field, I’m thinking about reconsidering all this and beginning a project of retagging stuff, what do y’all think? Am I doing it backwards? Should I forego the “grouping” tag altogether, only use standard genre labels, get hyper specific in the “genre” tag? Swap them? Ignore that and use comma separated fields aren’t hardly ever processed by players and implement that in either field? What are standards you like?
The imperative to abolish and render impossible and obsolete all states does not require ignoring that states which can be seen to do objectively and measurably more harm ought to be subject to urgency in prioritization - the fundamental value isn’t altered by this distinction.
@Mondobizarrro what if it split off into several divergent narratives simultaneously without warning the reader as soon as some arbitrary climax is reached
If I don’t do basic grooming activities that involve admitting that I’m living soon, my skin will begin to slough off my bones, and the insects will form a loose network of anarcho-syndicalist unions with politics that won’t really necessarily always immediately line up with my own.
However, this total degloving will cause me to become too sexually attractive, which would be really inconvenient and awkward – so despite being in favor of unions in general whether or not I support all of their positions as well as slow-cooking in my own mammalian entropy, and awkwardness to boot, I’d do well to do something about this.

@eris@nyx Might go without saying that I know a good number of women and butch lesbians in particular and who embody attributes that fit this description in precisely the way one might find men attractive, but without all the soul flaying hell torment bastard shit. Speaking for myself I’ve fucked a lot of guys, and dated a few, and found myself attracted to some features that happen to belong to particular men. It feels intuitive to me that this all coalesces and resolves neatly into me being a full bore all the way raging lesbian. Anything attractive about men is way more appealing in women IMO.
@Mondobizarrro I love hating it, it’s just so on the face of it absurd. Other people call it braindance which is neat, and a perfectly serviceable descriptive drop-in replacement. I can’t think of anyone who likes the term unironically, or in a way that isn’t grossly indulgent in the screeching abject pretentiousness of it, or just a totally self-unaware way. The endurance of the name is probably attributable to it’s very grossness.
@Mondobizarrro Like the notion of ‘techno you probably can’t really dance to outside of your head’ is such a delightfully challenging thing and giving a paradox like that a stuffed up fucking joke of a genre name like that is hilarious.
