@grillchen @kaia Currently I'm trying to move to aarch64 by misusing a chromebook. So for the short while I'll use the kernel it came with, but in the long run I hope to get a mainline or gentoo kernel running on it as well.
But switching from uefi/grub to depthcharge and learning about device trees is another steep learning curve for me

@kaia after a few rounds of not working devices you are painfully aware of what drivers you need

@kaia depends. If it is relatively sure that you come across different devices like usb serial adapters i configure all or at least the most common. But stuff like GPU or network cards, where I don't expect different drivers i use only those.

@kaia if your lazy you can use the binary kernel, but the last 15 years I configured most options of the kernel.

@Natanox @kaia you can try melatonin, it is what the brain naturally uses to get sleepy. So side affects are minimal and also works with ADHS. You can also ask a phamacyst or doctor

@kaia @szescstopni the question would be why there is a war in ukraine at all? Why are russian troops killing people in a land that has not attacked russia? If you listen closely to putin, there currently will be no peace where ukraine does not lose territory to russia, so what would be your solution?
