   okay I have 2x 2TB SSDs now, which means I can rip out the 1TB Windows SSD and the 1TB Linux SSD. but then I need to reinstall Arch, which is a big aaaaaaaaaah each time

     @kaia It should be enough to just copy the files to the new partition and reinstall grub (or whatever you use to boot).

     @kaia dunno about windows, but you could just clone the old arch one onto the new one
     you'd probably need to adjust /etc/fstab though
