i already have smug European friends asking me if I plan to move away from Texas then demanding I justify on moral grounds why when I say no, which is just like when blue state friends did the same when the anti-choice shit got enacted. they need to believe all those who will bear the most oppressive rule are not worthy of compassion, the alternative would be too heartbreaking for them to bear
a dutch friend asked me why I was "still texan". buddy i have lived on three continents and on none of them did i cease to be texan. this is a place not an ideology, do you understand me?
ive mentioned a few times before that awhile back i explored irl social transition in a serious way and eventually came to understand that i am a cis woman. the weird thing is i dont feel like it was a waste of time, i feel like i worked hard and the reward i got out of it was a profound sense of certainty and ease of self. i never had been before but now im proud to be a woman. i mean i earned it. wish i got a certificate to hang next to my bacherlor's. or a ribbon. trophy? a sticker at least
@zens well there's animorphs style, where the extra mass hangs out in another dimension, or you could say it comes from carbon in the air and returns to such, etc
en route to Pittsburgh with a JACKET yes, ya girl mani has learned to pack a jacket even when it's hot outside. ask me about how i went to the mountains of colorado in late october with no checked bags and a small backpack wearing a single sweatshirt and thinking myself such a clever light traveler right up until my teeth started chattering
stupid bitches dont know that the best way to have a good time on social media is to make a generalized statement about one’s area of expertise couched in combative language, wait for people to argue the contrary due to taking moral exception to the OP’s tone, pretend not to understand, then dunk on em once they reveal they have no more than a surface level understanding,.m and if u disagree ur a dork
