     a dutch friend asked me why I was "still texan". buddy i have lived on three continents and on none of them did i cease to be texan. this is a place not an ideology, do you understand me?

     i already have smug European friends asking me if I plan to move away from Texas then demanding I justify on moral grounds why when I say no, which is just like when blue state friends did the same when the anti-choice shit got enacted. they need to believe all those who will bear the most oppressive rule are not worthy of compassion, the alternative would be too heartbreaking for them to bear
