C17 Globemaster has just went over the house, fairly low. I love the sound of them.
The C17 has been at Leuchars for a couple of days, I'm guessing its likely heading to eastern Europe.
All the conspiracy nuts will be out in local FB groups no doubt, thinking something weird is going on cause planes like that are never seen here. They forget Leuchars is a military base, used to be RAF, its army now. The runway is still used often.

Okay, its a terrible picture and its not ironed cause its way too hot to iron. The pattern is straight, fabric is just bundled up under it.

#DeathByCrossStitch by #LongDogSamplers. Stitched on white 16ct aida fabric, using approx 370 metres of black DMC thread, 6 needles used. Final stitched area is - 55cm wide and 69cm high.

This was a labour of love, a challenge, a reward to myself, part of my #MentalHealth journey.

Its done now.

@CloudyMrs I honestly don't blame you for withdrawing. It was due to the tax credit changes that I ended up on UC, its been hell. Every appointment with them destroys my mental health a little bit more.
Ashamed to say I worked for DWP years back, before UC, when they brought in phone claims...and the systems in place then, well, I was up before my line manager every week for breaking the rules they had in place.

I'm going to be responsible and set an alarm for 1 hour. So thats 1 hour of gaming and then I will get ready for the day - lets see how this plan works 😬

@CloudyMrs The walk is good at the time, but then you get back home and reality kicks in again - not enough money to survive with, a government trying to wipe you out cause your disabled/single parent/not a tory, the state of the education system, struggling nhs, state of the world....depression kicks in, physical health problems start, the constant battle. Its a vicious cycle.But yeah, just walk it off.

@grrrr_shark This thread is great. Okay, not your experience (I can so relate to it), but for explaining what ADHD is like. The constant double checking, the panic, the checking again, the stress - its constant.
I hope you manage to have a great time in Munich and that your daughter has a fab birthday!

@Kingofcoke5 I'm trying to figure it out too, but it seems to be, follow lots of random ppl, favourite (like) stuff, boost stuff and dive into conversations.
