Because companies talking about the "learnings" they are taking from things is driving me mad.

Yeah yeah language evolves, don't be prescriptive, but this feels VERY "marketing speak" and I hate it.

Having one of those moments - AGAIN - where those two half-finished dissertations lounging around in my past are like, "YOU KNOW, you're not single-parenting a young child anymore, you COULD finally finish a PhD."

Sane mind: "yeah yeah, but it won't GET you anything. You are 52. You have a career. You're pretty senior."
