* mastodon.cloud doesn't federate with mstdn.games
* mastodon.art doesn't federate with aipub.social (AI art disagreements)

It would be nice to subscribe and publish to more than one mastodon instance.

Oh, I'd like to hear more about it. The closest I've come across it with AI art.

For example, I have an account on aipub.social (an AI-art dedicated instance), but is de-federated from a lot of places.

I agree, too. Censorship on mastodon has never been a problem for me, and it seems like the people who regularly have problems with censorship here are not really "my people", to put it nicely.

@BeAware I think mastodon.art is the same way.

@RickiTarr In principle it's nice, but in practice they just take away veteran's day for voting day.

@aral I've worked at 4 startup tech companies. They didn't do this.

In my experience, they usually get private investors.

Are you trying to reinvent "startup company" to mean something else?
