   I love how Mastodon has basically taken control of AP and can just add their own features and force other devs to comply or be left behind...😒

   Can we NOT allow this nonsense? Threads and Mastodon are teaming up to collectively kill everything good about this platform.

   Limiting replies coming soon. Wanna call out that blatant misinformation post? Too bad, the user turned off replies.🙄

   If we keep letting shit stick to the walls, don't wonder why it suddenly smells like shit everywhere, just saying.

     @Sibshops Crediting journalists has nothing to do with anything. It's limiting replies that's annoying me currently. We have enough misinformation here as it is. This will get WAY worse soon...😬

     @BeAware users often drive features, just because you don't like something doesn't mean others love it. Privacy is also behind plenty of these upcoming choices. Mastodon isn't the one thing that binds this together - don't like it? Leave it really is that simple. Go to another federated AP server, it is pretty easy....
     This point is really fundamental to federation use... you also don't have to interact or even see those who choose to abide by their own choices

     @3dcandy The problem is, once "limit replies" gets introduced, other devs are going have to add it too or they probably won't be federated for long. Not being federated with the biggest instances can be a death note....😩
