@evan well, I sent an invite to everyone on meta telling them where I would be if they wanted to connect.

@evan a few have bluesky accounts but they others are locked into meta and a few even are still on Twitter. Plus, I'm easy to find. Anybody that knows me IRL knows my handle. I've been using it professionally since the early 90s.

@evan almost nobody followed me over. All the friends I have, I made here.

@liztai everyone knows about US politics because they constantly broadcast it to the world. It's impossible to avoid. The yanks rarely hear anything else.

@mike805 @ekis people love art, they just believe it's too expensive. That's why streaming (music/video/games) is so popular.

@ekis it's the industry. They're just working within the limitations that were established a 100+ years ago.

So Aussie Facebook users. How are you going to spend your Meta payout? I think I'll buy Facebook with mine. I love the irony. With what's leftover, I'll buy the moon. I was going to buy twitter, but I don't want to deal with loose change.

@evan I never had a computer at university, and I certainly didn't have internet, wifi, or a mobile phone.

@skinnylatte quality in SG has plummeted in the last 5 years. It's like they took one look at their stores in Oz and went, "we'll have some of that, thank you very much".

@liztai my wife didn't used to cry much. She'd laugh all the way through suspense or horror films. Then we had kids and she bawls her eyes out at the least little thing and can no longer watch horror or suspense.

Is there anyway to customise a numbered list so that the numbers go 5,10, 15... or something similar?
