   I should probably add, that the game, Lekater (or, Fours), is chess-like but it isn't chess. The closest equivalent from our world is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaturanga.

   If I could find my notes, I'd include more. I wrote up the rules at one stage, but they're not where they're supposed to be, unfortunately.
