   I don't understand constantly resharing image macros. They're very popular, and on a lot of social media those are constantly getting massive reshares.

   But I don't understand it. Not wired that way.

     Similarly, I don't understand constantly reposting one's old posts (i.e., memories on FB). Lots of people do it and seem to get some satisfaction from it. I am the odd one out.

     (Not to say either of these things are bad. i just don't relate.)

     @kingrat I recently had someone reply to my 13yo Reddit comment. I still get replies to a post that I made here in August, despite an edit telling people the point of the post had ended. My most reposted tweet was an inane remark I made in 2012. It was still being constantly reposted when I left Twitter ten years later.

     It happens a lot.
