I don’t really blame you. Mainstream media has done a great job of inculcating the myth that the LDs are not worth listening to. There really isn’t a section of the MSM with an interest in promoting them. Greens are benefiting from being new and thereby interesting. I wonder of that will last?

One of the most hated lecture series in my Engineering degree was on letter writing. I loved it! I learned skills in that course that I have used throughout both my social and professional life. (‘End the letter by pointing the way forward’ is one of the most useful pieces of advice I’ve ever received.)

Scott Santens argues that if you are a libertarian who believes in free markets, you should believe in Universal Basic Income, because it transforms the labour market from coercive to a free market —then both sides can walk away from an unfair deal. At the moment, workers are forced to take exploitative wages because a low wage is better than no wage.

There is certainly plenty of evidence that there is no new intelligence suggesting that Iran is close to having a nuclear bomb. The juxtaposition of the bombing with Trump’s humiliation at his birthday parade is pure coincidence, of course. 😜

Trump’s attack on Iran has nothing to do with updated intelligence briefings, and everything to do with being butt hurt by the laughter at his failed birthday party.

The non-conspiracy theory would be that the markets still believe Musk’s bullshit about the imminent release of robo-taxis. I suppose that’s just about possible, if people refuse to learn from Musk’s history.

@selzero isn’t the strict definition of terrorism “violence or the threat of violence with political objectives”? So it all depends _why_ things are done. With that definition, targeting Teslas probably is terrorism.
