Indeed; this was some of the real election interference.

In a just society the perpetrators would be prosecuted; by MAGA they’ll be praised.

That's fair, and I'll disagree peacefully (broadly: I don’t believe sufficient are redeemable, or worth the investment to redeem). Thank you for the perspective, though (seriously).
I commend you on your work bringing others past their limitations.
I don't believe we have any moral imperative at all.
They've made their positions clear.
As to whether secession would be a practical option, I don't know (though overall I suspect it isn’t). If it were, at this point I'd be all for it.

“remote workers are capable of meeting their responsibilities while also doing healthy things and taking care of themselves”
“Elites bought up … trophy office towers based on the bad assumption that workers would rush back to offices. They also didn’t factor in skyrocketing energy costs or labor shortages, all driven by their own mistakes. You see, millions of workers are dead or disabled by the virus they wanted to ignore.”

Kudos to The Berkeley Repertory Theatre (Bay Area, CA) which has mandatory masked events on Sundays and Tuesdays.
Sorry, I should have thought of this earlier: Is setting up/running the news group costing anything? I'd be happy to contribute.
For some reason last night the phrase "Everyone gets a seat at the table" came to mind, and I remembered a photo from a few years ago that seemed appropriate.
I've DM’d numerous times, though directly to Tim — I'll note to DM the group in future, thank you.
In addition to “hateful, abusive, or discriminatory", though, I (and I think a lot of others) would much like to add “bringing up Gaza”. It's not even necessarily wanton trolling — some are probably well-intentioned.
IMHO there's no good that can come of it, it perennially derails conversation from constructive topics.
I beg you, shut down such threads immediately.
Worth a repeat for tonight.

United Kingdom: “Hold my beer”
A parliamentary system may still be subject to “peculiarities". Labour just won a “landslide" with more than double the majority of the previous government but with a significantly smaller percentage of the vote (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_Kingdom_general_elections#21st_century).
For the US *Presidency* (as long as there is one), IMHO there should be universal suffrage with some form of ranked voting.

‘… some people are testing at Day 1 and Day 2 and saying, 'Oh, it's negative, I don't have COVID,'" Hudson said. "If they probably tested themselves a couple of days later, there's a pretty good chance that it actually would turn out to be COVID."’
Just what I’ve been saying for months.
Asserting that RATs are a *great* way to keep others safe is #Bullshit.

Umm, no; “because it’s intrusive” is perfectly sufficient.
Gas/petrol leaf-blowers are bio-hazards.
Usually 2-stroke, they vent about 30% unburnt fuel into air around user, emit orders of magnitude more pollution than a truck:

Per others’ comments, maybe a role for some people for *electric* blowers to clear some hardscapes, but they shouldn’t be used on other ground surfaces — usually powerful enough to lift the topsoil, fungus, spores etc. high into the air, ruining garden and causing pulmonary problems.
