    One would think security notices a person that keeps hanging around the location they're protecting. It's not like this guy had a dozen different cars, etc.

    The only possible non-insider explanation would be if he had some wantage point a bit further away and he was observing from there with binoculars. In that case why was such an obvious perch not checked by security?

    The entire west looks pretty shaky economically, socially, demographically, in general. I could understand Russia/China/Iran wanting to wait and let it collapse on its own.

    On the other hand, Russia can't claim this red line and that red line but never do anything when they are crossed. At some point you have to actually do something or lose credibility.

    My best guess is Russia is trying to slow the escalation down as much as possible, hoping the west collapses on its own before things get too serious. The problem is that the political response to internal collapse could be the west starting an external war. They seem to be quite keen on that.

    Don't know if NATO would outright crumble. But it'd make NATO look even shakier than it is already.

    Add in that Germany and the Netherlands are starting to opt out of migration and the EU isn't looking too good either.

    These centralized globalist projects need to die. Originally the EU was supposed to be no more than a customs union. Shitbags from Brussels dictating how everybody should live was not what nations signed up for.

    Some nations like Slovakia and Hungary would immediately opt-out of such a NATO war. Orban has repeatedly pointed out that NATO is supposed to be a defensive alliance. NATO members have no obligation to go to war on the territory of a nation that is not a member of NATO.

    That recent prank call with Sikorski suggests not even Poland will go along.

    We don't know what that DoJ team tells these parents. But practically all of them fall in line with the official narrative. The pressure must be overwhelming. So many parents would not dismiss the murder of their child like this without facing serious trouble if they don't.

    This is another thing Trump, if elected, should investigate and expose. But I'm not holding my breath.

    But his track record of putting the right people in charge and supporting them is abysmal.

    The first tell on how things will be is whether he pardons all the Jan 6 people on day one in office.
