@dansup hi, this is a little beyond my understanding. Also my best images from decades past are on PC and best uploaded via browser. Is that possible or is Pixelfed one of these mobile-only, app-only things? Thanks.

I still don't get Mastodon. How come there are so many users who have many thousands of followers and haven't posted anything in one or two years or longer?

Still don't understand fediverse. I'm being careful not to follow any 'threads' domain accounts. Also when I check my follows it tells me I'm not following people who I am in fact following - yet more 'domain' nonsense for a casual user who doesn't work in the IT industry.

I'm just asking questions... in light of climate protestors getting 5 years in prison for their Zoom calls, what are the charges and sentencing likely to be for all the arson, injury and actual attempted murder of civilians, refugees and police officers in recent days (UK) because I'd expect there to be some sort of parity here that makes the law make sense, right?

@selzero I don't know what shameful Tories and Reform voters are going to do to these results. So many in the 'vox pops' who said they were undecided were plainly fash but didn't wanna lose every last friend and relative.

@HauntedOwlbear it is awful but it seems job one is now to keep actual neo-nazis from gaining seats with some predictions saying 'ReformUK' could win 15 seats. Hearing about Biden's 'debate' isn't reassuring across the pond neither. 🙄

@HauntedOwlbear its been difficult. No party is completely appealing & Labour in particular have strayed. Greens remain the sensible choice but are largely unelectable in a 2 party system 😔
Though not a happy choice its easy as i've a far-right Tory with huge majority to be rid of & statistically Lab is their only foe. Been Green supporter since 80s but have to vote Lab to beat a literal Nazi. If it looks like support for a right-leaning, flawed Labour party then its how it'll have to look. 😒

Best sense I've been able to make of it is 'having to' vote for Starmer's Labour in seats where they can/will get rid of a Tory. Aside from that, if the tactical vote is Lib Dem or another semi-progressive party that kicks Starmer into touch, so be it. But crucially Greens could win 4+ seats if we keep those voters motivated!

@HauntedOwlbear I don't like REM because of resonance and frequency issues. Its not Stipe its something like too many high-mid instruments or EQ. I find it all so thin, same with RHCP. REM evangelicals always think I should love them, and maybe I should but I can't 😯
