The Democrats have tried for more than 10 years to separate his loyal supporters from following Trump. The Dems never got it. We supported Trump because he’s not one of them - not a politician, not beholden to them.

I’ve said from Day 1, the only person who could separate Trump supporters from following Trump would be Trump himself, by his own actions, nothing else. That’s what’s happening now. He’s becoming a politician, appearing to become one of them, beholden to them.

Change my mind.

Good for the cop. She handled it well. If you don’t like it, take it to court. Make sure you have pictures of your car parked in the bus stop as proof that you should be able to park there, because “ I have a handicap sticker”. Then the judge can ding you for court costs in addition to your parking violation fine.

Wings should have never let Jim Nill get away - he was assistant in Detroit before the Stars promoted him to full GM - he’s been a rock star in Dallas

Yeah, but be careful - that was an abject failure in Detroit when they promoted Blashill from Grand Rapids after the Griffins won the Calder Cup a few years back. He was a total dud as an NHL coach. Still is now in Chicago

Long overdue. Word around the Motor City is none of the other GM’s in the league want to deal with him. Wants an arm and a leg for his “prospects” and wants to get the best of every deal. Time for him to go is long past…

You nailed it about property taxes - Property taxes in Wayne County (in the Mitten State) will eventually make it difficult for me to afford stay in my house, and those same property taxes will also make it difficult to sell that same home.

A real conundrum.

I don’t have one either. Don’t want one, don’t feel like I need it. There is enough information available elsewhere on the net and off, and I don’t want to depend on it for all my info, just like I didn’t, and don’t, want Facebook, instagram or tik tok either.

Correct. I read the posts from X that I can get and interest me, and when I come across something interesting that’s in a thread reader, I’ll follow up with that too. But it’s not gospel for me. And I want to stay away from being tied to any one platform. I think that leads to trouble. Better to have a variety of source material, and make up your own mind.

What I find so fascinating is their absolute obsession with him, and stopping him from regaining office, no matter what.

They are so afraid, so threatened by him, that they are voluntarily acting irrationally, and this is now going on eight years.

What I find most intriguing is what exactly are they so afraid of?

What do they think will happen ( mostly to them - they could care less about the country or the populace) if he returns to the Oval Office?

They think it’s Trump.

Get rid of him, we’ll get back in line, like good little lemmings.

Trump is just the conduit.

They don’t get it that if Trump goes away, we will just get stronger.

The Tea Party in the 90’s was the beginning.

They thought they squelched that, and thought they got us back in line.

They have no idea that it’s only going to get worse for them.

The line is gone.

It’s now just an angry mob at the gate.
