@Mondobizarrro You haven't heard "Towards the Infinite Beat" by Psychic TV? It got played in clubs a lot in the very early 90s.

Although even before that album they played and released under the pseudonym "Jack the Tab" and "Tekno Acid Beat" was considered the first acid house record.

I liked it a lot at the time. But I'm just not a big fan of electronic dance music as a genre.

There are exceptions, but it all starts sounding the same after awhile.

I guess a lot of genres are like that, tho.

I mean, how does Cookie Monster from Sesame Street find the time to sing for EVERY death metal band?

I don't know if it is technically an 'industrial' album, but my favorite industrial album of all time is "Nail" by Scraping Foetus off the Wheel.

@Mondobizarrro I like most of the TG offshoots but of all of them I like COIL the most. Chris and Cosey were good. Psychic TV were OK until they started doing "house" music IMO.

I had a couple Test Dept albums on vinyl with the weird packaging. Same for Zoviet France - they had weird packaging.

Being a terminal fuckup means I lost all my vinyl records over the years.

Industrial metal is just metal with electronics mixed in. That's . . . Hawkwind. LOL

Honestly, I don't consider bands like Skinny Puppy or synth era Ministry to be industrial either. I consider them to be electronic music and industrial music to be music made with tape loops, "found objects", weird instruments built into machines out of junk, and samples of noise and things like that.

Skinny Puppy and Twitch-era Ministry have a lot more in common with electronic artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Wendy Carlos, and Kraftwerk than they do Einsturzende Neubauten, NON, Z'EV, or SPK.

But people labeled them "industrial" back then, probably because the music wasn't "pop" enough, and in Skinny Puppy's case, like Throbbing Gristle, were actually scary as fuck to people at the time

Kolektiva is really acting up, and I am starting to get worried

Uh . . . yeah. I would absolutely call someone killing my dog murder.

My dog is as much a part of me as I am a part of her. I have horrible suicidal ideation, but the idea of abandoning her is simply not an option. I have no idea how I am going to survive her passing.

I have borderline from being abandoned as a child over and over again. The shelter told me she'd been taken back TWICE. I cannot imagine doing that because the love we have for each other is more sincere and pure than the love I have ever gotten from a human being.

She would NEVER abandon me, like all my friends from New Orleans did after Katrina.

But then, just look at her . . . just look at that face . . .
