@BrodieOnLinux so, is the puzzle solved? Could it be as simple as people watching a YouTube video without having the browser window active?

@BrodieOnLinux because they can’t really offer most of the browsers people use in that list?

So in practice you would get a choice between a bunch of browsers you don’t want, so you can use it to figure out how to download the one you want

@BrodieOnLinux looking at arch for example. Only those in the pacman repo would be listable in an installer. Presumably other distros have similar lists.

@GossiTheDog I doubt it was intended as a nazi salut, but it sure looks like one.

@ntnsndr yeah, imagine if people working at a hotel or restaurant are considered equal human beings to the customers. The horror

@GossiTheDog

Just visited your twitter profile as it was the first result on google, and it made me wonder if this is a failure of translation by twitter or if I actually can rent a toilet from you.

"Utleie av mobile toaletter" translates to "Rents out mobile toilets"

@morten_skaaning @GossiTheDog probably not, as the data is stored in your machine and never sent to the cloud. There are many issues, but I suspect GDPR is not one of them.

@selea I have been known to spend $299 to rectify the problem, at least on my way home

@GossiTheDog which is super annoying to me.

They had the chance to finally sell a powerful #Windows laptop to compete with Apple on battery life and performance.

And what did they do? They made it all about the NPU, so now the only reason to buy it is a feature nobody wants or understands.

@freemo @selea I use helix, still no plugins, but for me that is basically a plus. It is largely a everything included experience. Now, I can't use an editor without multiple cursors anymore.
