I can tell I'm getting soft. I used to have that wellspring of loathing for these "people", I could let it out in small bursts, slather it on to whatever gaslighting I was doing to maim them, but I keep feeling like it's just not as intense as it used to be.

Things are even worse out there demographically. The things I'm hearing every day are insane. Brown-shaded third world detritus complaining "dum racists ruin everything!!!!". Obese black women taking it upon themselves to diagnose aircraft problems with life threatening, imminent destructive issues because they hear a "really bad noise". Corpulent latrinixes hobbling around at 1.2 mph clogging up the lane and trying to whip their camera out to cancel you for telling them to move....

Losing it lately being on continuous trips with the most zogged out normies you can imagine.

@Marakus @Hoss My beef with the positive linux press is that the guys who advocate it so hard can bill someone for the time wasted on it. I just hate computer shit robbing me of my time.

But it's not anyone's job to make drivers for me, in the foss world. I don't totally agree, since the companies making it should be dealing with that, but it's all we got. It has gotten a lot better in the last 10 years. You can actually do work on them outside of IT, once you get the hang of the specific linux app to do so.

@Hoss Linux is cool as long as you get it stable & set.

Drivers, loading, outdated repositories, multiple workarounds just to give up in the end because it's a 2019 model and apparently nobody made the drivers for it.

But it's my fault, you see, because I did not choose the RIGHT distro. Nobody know what the hell that one is but stupid me, I should have picked it instead.

But aside from the infrequent headaches like that it's nice.
