* I think ADHx is a disorder if it feels like one to you, isn't if it doesn't. I know people who don't feel like it is, and I'm cool with that for them. I just don't want them insisting I should deny my own lived experience where it does cause impairment in my life.
* I definitely think it should be renamed for a host of reasons (including what I said earlier; it's a deficit in attention REGULATION, not attention itself).
@marix It's much more frequent and severe for people w/ADHD or other EF problems. Most NTs have difficulty relating to it and truly understanding it. IME, if someone relates to this as a frequent life problem, there's a good chance they aren't really NT, whether or not they have an official diagnosis.
