But I’m thankful for the (largely) independent civil service, police, and courts in the UK.

Actually, looking at the specs, the new M3 MacBook Air laptops have 500 nits screens, whereas my M1 MacBook Air has a 400 Nits screen. I don't need HDR on the laptop, so an increase in 100 nits might do me. The 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 16GB RAM looks tempting…

Although the idea of Texas and California seceding at the same time seems a bit off a stretch. Maybe it’s explained in the film. The Director defended the plot point in interviews.
