   Actually, looking at the specs, the new M3 MacBook Air laptops have 500 nits screens, whereas my M1 MacBook Air has a 400 Nits screen. I don't need HDR on the laptop, so an increase in 100 nits might do me. The 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 16GB RAM looks tempting…

     @WarnerCrocker Thanks. I'm currently leaning towards a Pro 14 with a 1000 nit screen.

     My eyes aren't going to get more sensitive to light over the next half-decade!
