@WarnerCrocker I’m not certain, but I think a modernist architect friend of mine may have found it offensive, or wildly inaccurate.
If upset, or on the other hand, excited, his language becomes vague ambiguous poetry.
Usually those in the arts in Chicago know a lot of architects, and their opinions. I’m off to read if your thoughts brushed up against similar perhaps less opaque, opinions.
@WarnerCrocker Saved this to read after I see the film. I don’t read reviews before seeing films. Mostly. Seeing it this week, hopefully.
Have you seen A Complete Unknown?
@ianRobinson It's next on my list. Can't wait. Also can't wait to hear what you think of The Brutalist.
@WarnerCrocker Booked for Friday afternoon.
@ianRobinson 👍🏻
@WarnerCrocker I’ve cancelled my booking for The Brutalist tomorrow. Can’t make it.
I’ll probably wait until it’s available to rent and watch at home over two or more nights. It’s is very long at 3.5 hours.
@ianRobinson It is indeed long. Will look forward to your thoughts once you've seen it.
