I never watched that show, apart from the final two episodes. And that was only because everyone was talking about it, it was filmed in, and a couple of people I worked with were in it for years as extras.

@fahrni I’m not into fantasy type stories now. Everyone says it’s a political intrigue show. But it’s a fantasy/medieval world.

I gave up on The Rings of Power too.

@LoneLocust There is a theory that the weirdness starts when they are updating the backend servers prior to the iOS and other updates. Seems plausible.

@WarnerCrocker has documented his travails with iCloud close to update releases.

I don’t think I’ve successfully got Siri to play a specific song on any of my HomePods since the new OSes came out last week. It played something that I can’t understand could be mistaken for what I said.

Maybe my voice is partially gnarly lately. Or something is borked in Apple Music or iCloud.

Did they switch the matching engine to an LLM? That would explain it being broken.

Audio playback in the iPhone Instagram app gets broken in new and novel ways with almost every app update. On my iPhone anyway.

It’s almost impressive.

It is certainly infuriating.

@WarnerCrocker The money has been in escrow for a while. I don’t know if it’s on or of Apple’s books for accounting purposes.

The big ouch will come if Google is told it can’t pay to be the default browser of choice.
