@heidilifeldman @_L1vY_. I’m reminding myself that my best courses of action are in my immediate vicinity. I cannot change the national issues, but I can be there for my lgbtq friends and my immigrant friends. I’m will do whatever I can for them if those days come to pass. I can let them know they can count on me now.

Well then, best of luck to you as you try to find worthy Allies to move your issues forward.

Relationships are complicated rather personal or political or corporate. Declaring liberals are not allies creates polarization and by nature is purity politics.

What for you constitutes an alliance?
Relationships are not perfect or lock step. But they do help one another achieve what neither can do alone.

I think for me I see them as needing prioritization. Some issues ( climate change, abortion, immigration) are higher on the list than others and therefore need as many pushing them forward as possible, even if I find their other issues untenable.

I applaud the idea. But constitutional amendments are more complicated than passing a law. They require constitutional conventions, congressional approval by 2/3 majority and then ratification by 3/4 of the states. The ERA is still languishing decades later on the state approval.
The idea of a CC also allows for proposals like banning abortion federally or enshrining immunity. So we need to be careful here. I’m not sure if this is the path. -

The weed keeps that access manageable. It helps him focus and cuts out the anxiety that comes with his brilliance. He’s beyond productive, he’s genius. -

Trump is the top chef of word salad. It’s never meant to make sense, it’s meant to inflame.
Personally I never order or eat the salad but there are plenty who make it their entire diet. I’ll call them Magatarians.

This is absolutely true. Fred and Joanne both would have found a way to send a message of love and acceptance to the trans community and a message to the rest of us about accepting each person for the unique individual they represent in this world. He also would have given us encouragement to allow ourselves to be our authentic selves as we see it from inside our own heart.
