I don't know if this is accurate. Ed Dowd has chronicled the excess death figures, though, and it just seems like more young people are dying than makes any sense. But of course that fits my expectations if Sasha Latypova is correct.

When i was 6 i remember my family driving from Fergus Falls to Brainerd. Saw a billboard making fun of people in Brainerd that showed lumberjacks with gaps in their teeth smiling. Asked my dad why. He said the stupid people in Brainerd didn't want fluoride in their city (water tower) water and so they would lose their teeth. There was a huuuuuge propaganda machine. Ask me again why i'm "radical" in my beliefs.

My wife reminds me how the feminine smell SHOULD pervade through candles, deoderizers by aerosol, and some weird wooden sticks and wicks and vases with water in the vessels to disperse. I have NEVER in our adult/married life pushed her on why SMELL for humans matters so damned much (after 33 years) since we scarce approach dogs much less cats on that sense in perception. Want a scorcher? She always jokes, "Boys (blah blah blah) or "Girls are more (blah blah blah)."

@Humpleupagus @CapitalB A good friend's father had a union job at the Ford plant in St.Paul. Had to have both his knees done and made it to his 70's but not his 80's I don't think. Could barely still walk in his retirement. Pi$$ed himself down his leg without knowing he was doing it if he drank beer with us while we worked on cars in the garage. The assembly line was no picnic whatever your race. Even now union or not, its repetitive motions are ...painful down the line.

@Humpleupagus @CapitalB What Ford said reported in the papers and magazines was true and he got smeared and labeled an anti-dentite for his efforts. He'd observed the 1907 through 1913 activities and was not stupid.

@CapitalB When the unfettered free market decided who was a pharmacist, the original Rockefeller was selling petroleum drinkables for medicine. If that huckster hadn't found its real uses and unlocked energy potential (actually others did) he might have ended up in jail for killing his customers if they could catch up to him from town to town.

I understand licensing vehicles for roads they've built & manage, & can be persuaded re lakes & rivers. But they own and manage wildlife? And nearly all of commerce? Appraisers didn't cause the S&L crisis, and accountants didn't cause the tech bubble or Enron. We were banks & Wall St's fall guys. Doctors & dentists& cosmetologists, lawyers, etc. How many were fall guys from the free market since 1913? You need a license for virtually every business, profession & occupation now. Think about that.

@CapitalB I've been thinking of this topic since i was first required to become professionally licensed as a CRE appraiser. We knew who the practitioners of integrity were and SO DID the lenders. The market is not stupid. But then came 2008 and the bailout of the bad apples, one and all. And then came 2020 and you couldn't get a haircut because those practitioners need licenses. Now i think about every licensed business and person. And it's sickening if you take it to heart.

@Sophistifunk Or she has other "guns" she knows how to use. And/or also a protector (wesley in princess bride) who "will always come for her", whatever the pirate kidnapper. The fellow i have in mind is less merciful and sporting than Wesley was.

I have no idea if it's true. But it should be.
