I don't know if this is accurate. Ed Dowd has chronicled the excess death figures, though, and it just seems like more young people are dying than makes any sense. But of course that fits my expectations if Sasha Latypova is correct.

      it's not cognitive dissonance.

its more shame + "sunk cost fallacy"

      ---

      "sunk cost fallacy"

people justify increased investment in a decision, based on the cumulative prior investment, despite new evidence suggesting that the decision was probably wrong."

        List of cognitive biases
Cognitive biases are systematic patterns of deviation from norm and/or rationality in judgment. They are often studied in psychology, sociology and behavioral economics.Although the reality of most of these biases is confirmed by reproducible research, there are often controversies about how to classify these biases or how to explain them. Several theoretical causes are known for some cognitive biases, which provides a classification of biases by their common generative mechanism (such as noisy information-processing). Gerd Gigerenzer has criticized the framing of cognitive biases as errors in judgment, and favors interpreting them as arising from rational deviations from logical thought.Explanations include information-processing rules (i.e., mental shortcuts), called heuristics, that the brain uses to produce decisions or judgments. Biases have a variety of forms and appear as cognitive ("cold") bias, such as mental noise, or motivational ("hot") bias, such as when beliefs are distorted by wishful thinking. Both effects can be present at the same time. There are also controversies over some of these biases as to whether they count as useless or irrational...

I feel bad for those who were poorly defended from the pressure to get the jab. Their tales flood this subreddit, but by and large the afflicted still have cognitive dissonance about the causes of their maladies https://www.reddit.com/r/COVID19positive/new/

        Hippocratic Oath
The Hippocratic Oath is an oath of ethics historically taken by physicians. It is one of the most widely known of Greek medical texts. In its original form, it requires a new physician to swear, by a number of healing gods, to uphold specific ethical standards. The oath is the earliest expression of medical ethics in the Western world, establishing several principles of medical ethics which remain of paramount significance today. These include the principles of medical confidentiality and non-maleficence. As the seminal articulation of certain principles that continue to guide and inform medical practice, the ancient text is of more than historic and symbolic value. It is enshrined in the legal statutes of various jurisdictions, such that violations of the oath may carry criminal or other liability beyond the oath's symbolic nature. The original oath was written in Ionic Greek, between the fifth and third centuries BC. Although it is traditionally attributed to the Greek doctor Hippocrates and it is usually included in the Hippocratic Corpus, some modern scholars do not regard it as...

every doctor that didn't tell their patients that there's no safety data DID NOT get a informed consent.

that means all of them broke the first rule of the nuremberg codex.
