Everyone talked about how good
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman was so I finally got around to reading it. Unfortunately it very much wasn't for me. It's fine like. But no. Not my cup of tea.

@kithrup I remember the plans to build it. But I didn't know it didn't happen. I thought it had.

It is 35 degrees outside right now give or take. With 0 humidity.

I got on this plane and.....they announced a delay.
Honestly, I was almost incoherent.
But while le eventually left an hour late, they managed to catch up most, if not all, of the time.
I got there. I'm dead, but I am where I wanted to be.

@WearsHats I know that, but if the weather was good enough for the later plane to fly, then my flight could have gone. A whole plane full of the people they were supposed to bring could go with their own bags to the same destination as the flight that actually carried our bags....

Also. I need a US lawyer willing to answer questions for free. UNITED wouldn't pay my hotel room or compensation because it was a weather delay...but my bags got to the destination on the next flight. They could have got us out, delayed but not cancelled. The cancellation was their call, not weather. Right????

Well feck
United cancelled the flight.
Now booked on a flight tomorrow.
USA rules suggest no compensation or hotel because "weather"

Delayed by an hour but at least it was the last flight I need and before we boarded.

Now I just need my, carefully being tracked with tile, bagatelle end up on the right flight. It's actually worse being able to see them as I can't tell if they are going the right way yet.....

I am now sitting at the gate for my next flight.

And people wonder why public transport isn't more popular. I couldn't even take an earlier bus, because they don't run one.

Screams into the void because the driver and passenger are discussing the coffee she got that made her late getting back to the (already late) bus that is taking me to a plane.
