@eaton let me mansplain here. While the core of SQL was deliberately designed to be not Turing complete later standards (SQL:2003 and SQL:1999) allows some vile shenanigans via recursive CTEs. while https://github.com/nuno-faria/tetris-sql

The United Auto Workers has filed federal labor charges against Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, the union said Tuesday.

I am fairly certain the European Union, as it warned, will not be far behind in bringing down the law on muskrat.

I just don't understand, he has more money than anyone could possibly need and he just goes around spends it on peddling hate.

    I don't get it.

@rabbit @munin As I translated @pluralistic 's DRM talk given at Microsoft oh so long ago I still remember it well. It includes: When his defense asked "Which computer has Jon trespassed upon?" the answer was: "His
own." https://craphound.com/msftdrm.txt Cory, you need to go to Microsoft and repeat the talk, they forgot it in these twenty years.

@molly0xfff but ... the problem is those spaces were populated with likeminded people because , well , there was nothing else there. What if we build a better mousetrap and the world does not beat a path to our doors? https://smallformfactor.net/forum/ is a practically unique space still with devout followers and yet posts dwindled to so little by now. The halls of the venerable SPCR forum https://silentpcreview.com/forums/ echoes with emptiness too. I do not know how could we rebuild.

@izaya @TempestDerg I have certainly bashed HDMI more than once but let's face it: it allows for much longer passive cables which alas is a significant factor in home theaters. Like, you can get a 30ft HDMI cable for <$30 while such a cable in DisplayPort or USB C format is either active or optical and costs like $100+.

@Hunterrules0_o @MnemosyneSinger there are extremely few people who *need* a car. If we invested in public transport so that it is not crowded and clean then would you use it? Or are you just looking for excuses?

@thomasfuchs ah yes! I posted to /r/shittykickstarters this https://i.imgur.com/5oGlEVR.png incredible cable. USB 3.0 means they have the high speed lanes in there and yet somehow it's not DP alt mode compatible... ingenious specs violation.

@thomasfuchs Just FYI, there are 12. See https://people.kernel.org/bleung/now-how-many-usb-c-to-usb-c-cables-are-there-usb4-update-september-12 for the "traditional" eight of them and then the 5A kinds have EPR (240W) upgraded versions.

tl;dr: There are now 8. Thunderbolt 3 cables officially count too. It's getting hard to manage, but help is on the way. Edited lightly 0...
