  @thomasfuchs Just FYI, there are 12. See https://people.kernel.org/bleung/now-how-many-usb-c-to-usb-c-cables-are-there-usb4-update-september-12 for the "traditional" eight of them and then the 5A kinds have EPR (240W) upgraded versions.

  @thomasfuchs ah yes! I posted to /r/shittykickstarters this https://i.imgur.com/5oGlEVR.png incredible cable. USB 3.0 means they have the high speed lanes in there and yet somehow it's not DP alt mode compatible... ingenious specs violation.
