i'm going to expand on this "greens can't win" thing.

what can one MP do? if you're thinking vote in parliament 1 mp is no worse than 100.

what can one mp do?

stand in front of demonstrations and ensure coverage when everyone is arrested.
give witness to uk human rights abuses in international courts and foreign parliaments.
name fash funding networks in parliament.
visit prisons and illegal detention sites.

one mp can do lots.

be happy when you vote, it might make a huge difference and set the agenda. i can't guarantee we will win if we fight. but we all lose when we don't fight.

groan at the cliche if you like but it's as true as ever: we have nothing to lose but our chains.

lots of linux heads on here but none willing to explain linux as if i'm a complete idiot and hate computers (all true).

yes. but also "run a little business" type games always seem to be really badly designed and balanced. most of them you seem to be able to build literally anything and find a buyer for it, and a profit.

for you sarah i will write to my garbage MP. although in echo of the above, she has never responded to any of my previous correspondence and in a mystery shopper exercise had the worst response rate of any mp in the liverpool city region (maria eagle).

I'm going to stop using the term peaceful protesters. Obviously the protesters have been peaceful but I don't wish to suggest that their protest would not have been legitimate in my eyes if they were not peaceful. Powerless or defenceless protests/protesters would be better. The filth certainly wouldn't be trying to beat the shit out of them if they were sufficiently powerful.
