@lain @solidsanek I guess those are movies where the delta isn't quite as severe?
My takeaway was why do men overwhelmingly like movies that are 20+ years, while women skew much more recent. I think that's the interesting bit.

@p @kaia There's a project or library called "Marp" that defines Markdown syntax for making slides and an #Obsidian plugin called Marp slides that implements it. It can export as PDF and PPTX.
It works alright for quick presos for small audiences. Personally, my dreams of easy, tet-based slide creation always get shattered by the corporate template requirements and/or the need to make simple-looking diagrams to dumb it down for the audience (which are actually pain-staking and time-consuming to create).
@kaia @Natanox and DOS memory Management? I don't miss those days. I'll bet the drivers are pretty difficult to find. At least ones that aren't riddled with spy and malware.
@GeePawHill @skinnylatte what is Tommy's tax rate? And why isn't he avoiding short term capital gains?
@skinnylatte no truer words than that last statement!
BTW: did you go to Hat Yai while in #portland? So good, I think I know what I'm doing for lunch today!
@kaia Continue. You can point it at all kinds of inference servers. It works with #Codium.
@77nn @kaia we have individual #KeepassXC vaults, and a shared one called "KeeShare" that has a bunch of shared accounts (e.g. utilities) and other PII (e.g. ID numbers). It sort of works like a symlinked additional vault.
Then, in the safety deposit box -to which we both have access- is a relatively recent copy of both password vaults and their passphrases written down.
Also, my vault requires a Yubikey w/ a configured Challenge/Response.
@kaia I'd steer her away from .xyz domains, if possible.
@molly0xfff Reminding me of a great #zine I picked up recently RSS is (not) Dead By Audra Mcname. Lovely that they put the full version online!
@jonossaseuraava @kaia no wifi for the French
@atomicpoet Where did you find an installable release and were there any instructions?
I was looking into #Streams the other day because I am trying to find a fedi blogging platform that will suit my purposes. Everything I could find looked to be more proof-of-concept.
@jerry I assume everything on Apple+ is shot on an #iPhone, and that is why I don't subscribe
